Rule 13
Bill presented in joint meeting

(1) If a bill has to be presented in a joint meeting according to clause (9) of Article 111 of the Constitution, the Secretary General shall provide the following details to the members at least one day before the date and time of presentation of the bill:-(a) Bills passed by the National Assembly but rejected by the House of Representatives. If so, the details of the related message, and (b) the details of the message in the case of a bill sent back to the National Assembly with amendments by the House of Representatives but the National Assembly could not agree to such amendments. (3) After making a statement in accordance with sub-rule (2), the presenting member shall submit any of the following motions:- (a) That the Bill be considered as passed by the House in which the Bill originated, or (b) Public response to the Bill as passed by the House in which the Bill originated.
